Uki is Sanosuke's younger sister. When her brother was still around, she used to hang around him all the time, admiring everything about him. Although at that time the mother of the Higashidani family passed away, Uki filled that void of responsibility and acted as a motherly figure towards her brother. Uki practically raised Outa herself.
